Diegene die mijn leeftijd zijn snappen deze spinoff qua titel vast, voor mijn jongere volgers…vroeger had je een programma dat 12 steden, 13 ongelukken heette. Nu was er toen nog geen CSI dus naast Rescue 911 was dit toch wel het spannendste op tv (okay en de Moddermonsters). Grappig feitje, jaren later werkte ik regelmatig met de presentator samen in mijn werk als eventplanner.
Maar dat terzijde, 12 steden dus, want dat is dus de bedoeling van mijn laatste volle jaartje in Nederland. Ik had een hele To See lijst binnen Europa maar iets met een virusje gooide roet in het eten. Maar Nederland is eigenlijk net zo mooi en toen ik alle provincies hoofdsteden aan het opzoeken was (ja dat rijtje is er vroeger wel ingestampt maar hey…ik ben inmiddels wel wat jaartjes ouder en ik had ruimte nodig voor echt belangrijke dingen in mijn hoofd), kwam ik erachter dat ik niet eens in allemaal ben geweest. Dus dat lijkt mij een goed plan voor 2022, elke maand een stad en ik start natuurlijk met mijn eigen stadje!
Ik neem jullie mee en laat jullie alle leuke plekjes zien, must do’s, must eats en meer…en natuurlijk welke snacks je mee moet nemen als souvenirtje!* MAAR ik heb wel jullie hulp nodig. Dus woon je in Leeuwarden, Groningen, Assen, Zwolle, Lelystad, Haarlem, Den Haag, Utrecht, Middelburg, Den Bosch of Maastricht en zijn er plekjes die ik echt moet bezoeken als ik er ben…let me know!!!

For those being my age (and Dutch) will get this spinoff of the title, for my younger followers (and non Dutchies)…back in the day there was a program called 12 cities, 13 accidents. As there was no CSI yet, this was besides Rescue 911 maybe the most exiting thing on tv (okay and the Mud Monster). Funny fact, years later i worked with the presentor of this program on a regular base in my work as eventplanner.
But that asside, 12 cities, that is the plan for my last full year in The Netherlands. I had a big To See list for Europe but something with a little virus f*-ed that up. But Holland is just as nice aswell and when i was looking up all the capitol cities of the provinces (yes i did learn those when i was young but hey…i’m a lot older now and i needed space in my head for more important things), i found out i haven’t been to all of them. So that seems like a good plan for 2022, every month one city and ofcourse i’m starting in my own little town!
I take you with me and show you all the cute place, must do’s, must eats and more…and ofcourse which snacks to take home as a souvenir!* BUT i do need your help. So if you live in Leeuwarden, Groningen, Assen, Zwolle, Lelystad, Haarlem, Den Haag, Utrecht, Middelburg, Den Bosch or Maastricht and there are place i really must visit…let me know!!!
